The Full Story
ADKA events is an events company started by Aditi Garg and Kannupriya Garg to bring to the Tricity activities that are truly unique and engaging. They started with a Dussehra workshop for kids - Rama’s Warriors which was a runaway success. There has been no looking back since.
Rama’s Warriors was followed by Mehndi Splendour with Harin’s mehndi from Surat, bringing designer mehndi artists to town where more than 250 women got the beautiful henna done on their hands, the Haat which promoted women entrepreneurs with stalls where they got an excellent response to their wares, the Karwa Klub which is one of a kind Karwa Chauth event and the hugely popular and well received Ghostbusters’ Ball for Halloween.
To engage young minds in activities that will go a long way in shaping their lives for the better, they have started A Small Word, a book club just for kids. With regular meetings, interactions, activities, membership inclusive of books and an online resource for both children and parents, it seeks to make the world of children more vibrant with emphasis on the written word.

Aditi Garg
The Geek
Aditi has been a writer for more years than she remembers. Having written for everything from magazines, newspapers and websites, she loves reading just as much and cannot let go an opportunity to read anything and everything - even food labels. A shopaholic, chocolates are her guilty pleasures, and she pursues her passion for creativity in different spheres with equal zest. To be in her good books, you have to be, well...into books.
Kannupriya Garg
The Diva
Kannupriya is a go getter and the best way to get her to do something is to tell her it can't be done. Dedicated to any cause she chooses, she has successfully run a cafe for a year and continues to do so with élan. She loves to try her hands at new things and keeps at it till she reaches perfection. Her energy is her biggest ally and keeps her on the toes at all times.
